Six Months

Old friends visiting you in your new city

Figuratively, the above union served as the utmost contrast to 2018’s penultimate chapter. New Year’s was spent in New Mexico. I can’t think of a more emblematic place the shed the weight of 2017 and 2018. Something new.

Casual Fridays

Since lugging my DSLR around becomes cumbersome at times, I decided to share iPhone photos from San Francisco and SoCal. It’s a “Casual Friday” photography post. Some scenes from evening walks in Alta Plaza and Presidio Heights, tasting menus at Petit Crenn, tours of Google offices and celebrations with my Irish twin.

In August, we’re studying for the GMAT (help!), joining our favorite gym (again), getting involved in local non-profits and traveling to see our favorite people. And by we, I mean me and my imaginary dog that I wish I had in SF.

Walking to the Golden Gate Bridge


 

When visiting San Francisco, one must walk to the Golden Gate Bridge. Fun fact, it is not in fact golden, rather a burnt bridge. This weekend, my mother and I found ourselves walking, or rather hiking, to the Golden Gate bridge. Inspired by a Kourtney Kardashian, we sought a piece of beach near the Golden Gate bridge to no avail. Instead, I wound up with these pretty pictures.
